Mardi Gras in the Mountains

Georgia Mountains Hospice is a not for profit agency that cares for those people facing a limited life expectancy, serving a ten county area in northwest Georgia for the past 30 years.  GMH provides patients and their families with a highly skilled and compassionate team of professionals who address their physical, emotional and spiritual needs.  No hospice appropriate patient is declined services for lack of a funding source.  

The Knights of Columbus is a charitable organization. They help meet the needs of organizations such as C.A.R.E.S., St. Vincent de Paul, Gilmer Pregnancy Center, The Boys and Girls Club, Habitat for Humanity and Gilmer Food Pantry but most of all they assist people and families who are in financial need.

The Rotary Club of Jasper was formed in 1989 by a group of local business people and professionals who dedicated themselves to “service above self”.  The club strives to work for a better community by helping various charities such as The Boys and Girls Club of North GA, HOPE House, and Ferst Foundation.
